CADCA’s Prescription Drug Misuse Prevention Efforts
CADCA has been involved in Rx misuse prevention for more than a decade, creating and facilitating the development of interventions, nationally and on-the-ground. Through grant programs, CADCA has also supported the development and implementation of prescription drug abuse community forums and drug-take-back events— testing new strategies and materials on the local level, ensuring that they resonate with coalition needs.
Over the years, CADCA has developed a number of tools and resources to help CADCA-member coalitions and other organizations working on tobacco issues prevent and reduce tobacco use – such as feature articles, issue briefs, publications, toolkits, videos, webinars and training and technical assistance.
